Is this online pill counter free?
Yes. Count one photo at a time, as often as you like. No account, subscription or app installation is required.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our server for counting, then deleted. It is not stored on the server or used for anything else. This browser tool keeps only your current photo; starting a new count replaces it.
How accurate is the count?
In our held-out benchmark, 92.8% of photos had the exact count. Overlap, close-ups and unusual shapes can cause mistakes. Check the highlights: green is counted, orange is worth a second look and grey is excluded. Tap a detection to exclude or restore it. The tool cannot highlight a pill it did not detect.
Can it count half tablets?
A piece the counter recognizes as a half contributes 0.5 and has a lighter highlight. Recognition is not guaranteed. Excluding a half removes 0.5; restoring it adds 0.5. The total is a counting aid, not dosing advice.
