Look for missed pills or extra markers. Compare the totals. If they differ, recount as usual.

- Look between them, too. A missed pill has no marker. Check the whole tray.
- Give halves a second look. A recognized half counts as 0.5. Recognition is not guaranteed.
About 93 in 100 photos had the exact count in our held-out test of 3,487 photos containing 157,183 pills. Overlap, close-ups and unusual shapes can cause mistakes.

Keep labels and identifying information out of the photo. Images are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, processed, then deleted. An internet connection is required.
